We Tag Taggers
Thank you for wanting to become a tagger with our We Tag Team!
BoutiqueBASH accepts new taggers only if they previously consigned at a BoutiqueBASH event and were not fined for 5 or more unacceptable items. Returning BB Taggers receive priority due to unique BB item pricing. If you've consigned at a past BB event and wish to tag for other consignors, keep reading.
New for BB only - Spring 2026
- We are requiring that BB taggers tag all items, even those for color tag consignors, with tan cardstock for BB only. This is supplied for you at the mall space.
- White or color cardstock may NOT be used for BB We Tag - no exceptions.
New Taggers
- A new BB tagger is anyone who has NOT been a We Tag tagger for BB specifically in the past.
- New Taggers must attend orientation, listed on the We Tag Schedule linked in the fb group and tagger form.
- All taggers who did not tag for We Tag for last season's BB must also attend Orientation.
- New Taggers must pick up consignor items at the sale space, tag them at home (if portable), and return them to place on the sales floor when a We Tag lead is there.
- New taggers must complete and email a W9 to
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . You can not become a tagger until we receive your W9. - All new taggers must show all unacceptable items to a We Tag Team Lead for approval before disposing of them.
- All new taggers must drop off items only when a We Tag Team Lead is at the mall space - not when other key holders offer to allow drop-off. Team leads are listed in the Tagger Form.
General Information
- View the BB event schedule here.
- Courtney is the We Tag team lead; all communication should go through her. Other leads are listed on the form.
- Large items that can't be moved may stay at the sale space. Label them with blue painter's tape showing the consignor code, your name, and "BB We Tag." Take photos, create the tag at home, then return to attach it. Send photos to the We Tag Team Lead so they are aware of items left that need tags.
- Returning Taggers may choose home drop-offs and/or mall pickups.
- Taggers earn 20% of consignor sales from items they tag that sell. BB Taggers also earn $10 for each BB porch pickup. You submit an unacceptable items count. Pay is calculated before consignor fines are deducted. Fines do not affect your pay.
- If you earn over $600/year, Gail will issue you a 1099.
- We supply zip-ties, Ziploc bags, tag pins, tan cardstock, safety pins, hangers, blue painter's tape, and packing tape. Refill empty red packing tape holders at the sale for reuse.
- You provide pens, a tag gun, large-core packing tape holder, stapler, and hole punch. Do not remove these from the sale space. Supplies: https://www.amazon.com/shop/kidseverywearconsignmentsale
- You decide the prices. We created a BB Pricing Guide to help. The consignor may tell you prices of a few items for which they have strong preference or might ask you to price a few items in red no discount.
- Return unused supplies including hangers before Drop-off unless tagging for KE or EE too.
- Do not use Kids EveryWEAR supplies or hangers for your personal items.
- Keep each consignor's items completely separate and use their correct code and last name on all tags.
- We recommend a tagging gun, but you may use our zip-ties or safety pins where needed. We like this tagging gun. We provide tag pins; ensure they match your gun type (fine or regular).
- We Tag requires Taggers who arrive on time.
- For the BoutiqueBASH Sale, all consignor items should be fully placed on the sales floor by Tuesday, January 20, the day before first BB drop off. Add this deadline to your calendar. We request that you complete all consignor items before regular drop-offs begin. You may still use regular drop-offs and go through the normal drop-off procedure if you have additional items once regular drop-offs start. However, aim to have all items placed before regular drop-offs begin.
- Once regular drop-offs begin, you may only enter during regular drop-off hours and MUST have all items out before the end of the final drop-off ends.
- If you fail to complete and place a consignor's items BEFORE BB 2nd Drop-off, the person who finishes the work will receive full pay for those items. No exceptions.
- If an emergency prevents you from completing tagging or from getting your consignor's items, notify the team lead as soon as possible - ideally at least one week before regular drop-offs.
- You will receive one combined check for all of your we tag commissions. It will be available at Pickup. If you don't go to Pickup, it will be mailed that evening to the address you provide in the We Tag form. If you consign at BB, your tagger check will be stapled to your personal consignor check for pickup.
- You will receive a Tagger Seller report that shows all items that sold for each consignor and all unacceptable items.
- If you purchase a personal Seller Report, it includes only items sold under your personal code, not your We Tag consignors' codes.
- When filling out the tagger form, indicate if you will offer BB porch pickup for an additional $10. This option is for BB only.
BoutiqueBASH Pickup
There is no rollover after BB.
- All BB unsold items must be retagged at a lower price for KE or EE on white cardstock or colored cardstock provided by the consignor.
- To make this easiest, tag ALL items for BB with the tan cardstock we provide.
- We will pull all items tagged with tan cardstock and have them sorted by tagger and available at regular consignor pickup after BB ends as well as the 1st KE mall drop-off for We Tag; save the link to the we tag schedule when filling out we tag form.
- The We Tag team lead will confirm whether or not your consignor has paid for KE or EE We Tag.
- If you are tagging for KE or EE and you receive confirmation from the team lead that your BB consignor has paid for KE or EE We Tag, you are required to pick up your consignors' unsold items and retag on white cardstock that we provide or consignor-provided color cardstock to reduce the price for KE or EE.
- If you are consigning personally at BB, you must pick up your personal items before the end of BB Pickup.
- You must pick up consignor items for retag at BB Pickup or the 1st mall tagger pickup after that.
- If you will not be tagging for KE or EE, the We Tag team leads will assign your consignors' rollover items to another tagger.
We Tag Consignor Codes
- Consignor # tape: Remove all blue tape with consignor codes before placing tagged items on the sales floor. Double-check both while tagging and when setting up.
- The We Tag Team Lead will register the consignor's We Tag code for each event using their first initial and last name.
- If a consignor provides colored cardstock, ensure it matches their assigned We Tag code color.
- If the consignor tags their own items, they can use their original code (full first name and last name) or accept that items under their we tag code will be paid at 45%.
- Consignors pay an additional fee for a second code. We do not issue a free extra code to discourage self-tagging of large or expensive items.
- If they use the We Tag code, all their self-tagged items will be paid at 45%.
Details
- YOU MUST PROMISE NOT TO SHOP, STASH, HIDE, OR LOOK THROUGH CLOTHING OR OTHER CONSIGNED ITEMS.
- We all know this, but it still needs to be said because some people ask where they could put the items they want to buy!
- It simply is not fair, no matter how many hours you work.
- If you desperately want something, you must put it where it belongs and go to it first during your shopping hours.
- Do not ask someone shopping before your shopping time to buy any items for you.
- Do not buy directly from consignors.
- We post important We Tag updates in our hidden We Tag FB Group.
- As a tagger, you must request a link from the We Tag team lead (listed above) to join the We Tag FB Group.
- The link expires after 24 hours.
- Once you join, please turn on notifications for the group.
- It is also the only place you may ask questions about We Tag.
- You may not text questions about tagging to the We Tag team.
- It becomes overwhelming for other taggers to answer questions already covered on our website or in the We Tag or Consignor groups.
- Be respectful of other team members' time and search the site using various search terms before posting in the FB Group.
- Please do not ask Kate, Amy, or other taggers about item placement before carefully walking the space to search the layout for item placement.
- Please do not ask Kate, Amy, or other taggers questions about how to tag an item before first searching the How to Tag page for BB in the SELL tab of the website.
- You must join our private FB Group for consignors and turn on notifications if you are not already a member. We post helpful information there and believe it is beneficial.
- It is absolutely essential that your tags print crisp and clear - not faded or fuzzy. Never print over a tag twice or on the back of the same sheet. If tags are fuzzy, they don't scan and must be manually entered, increasing the chance of errors. Please ensure each sheet prints clearly!
- Before tagging each season, you must read the What's New page.
- Before tagging each season, please read the How to Tag page. Tagging rules change each season.
- If a consignor does not drop off after you've contacted them by email and text, please notify the We Tag team lead listed above.
- All initial written or phone communication with consignors must be done by the We Tag team leads, not by you. If a consignor reaches out to you directly, ask them to sign up according to the directions at BB We Tag for You in the SELL tab.
- If a consignor provides color cardstock, verify that it matches the correct color indicated on the Cardstock Color Chart.
- Attach Claim Tickets to all items that require them.
- Please discuss any sale-related suggestions or desired changes with Gail, but be discreet about who hears you. We value and appreciate your input, but let’s keep discussions private. Please, no drama and complaining. Let's keep it fun for everyone!
- Please do not discuss other consignment sales with anyone, including your consignors.
- No one may help you put out items. You alone may place We Tag items-no helpers allowed.
- You may not turn on the main lights. Only the We Tag team lead may turn them on, and only when many people are putting out items. We will post in the We Tag FB Group when lights will be on.
- When you are completely finished and all items have been placed on the sales floor, submit an Unacceptable Items form for each unacceptable item.
This does not impact your tagger pay, as it's calculated before fines are deducted from consignor pay. You may pick your next consignor's items to tag only after submitting unacceptable items for your current consignor and placing all of their items on the sales floor.Unacceptable items form for January 2026 consignors
Unacceptable Items
- You are responsible for checking all items for stains and tears.
- You must check that items meet the requirements of the Boutique Brands Accepted Chart.

- All items must have working batteries. We do not provide batteries.
- You must assemble all items that require assembly as listed in the BB Drop-off page of the SELL tab.
- Any items accepted at the KE Sale but NOT at the BoutiqueBASH may be tagged for KE. Box them in small, closed, stackable boxes clearly labeled with your name, consignor code, and "KE WE TAG" and stack them in the office.
- Any items accepted at the EE Sale but NOT at the BoutiqueBASH may be tagged for EE. However, you MUST inform your We Tag team lead (listed above) so she can have the consignor pay for EE We Tag in addition to BB We Tag. Do not count those items as unacceptable. Box them in small, closed, stackable boxes clearly labeled with your name, consignor code, and "EE WE TAG" and stack them in the office.
- The BB s3cret w0rds are I solemnly swear.
- If you are a returning tagger for We Tag and a consignor's items are stained, torn, or outdated, please dispose of them. Those are the only items we ask you to dispose of. All items for KE or EE should be tagged, boxed, and stored at the sale space as noted above.
USING THE SALE SPACE
- Text Gail EVERY time you enter and leave the sales space, even if team leads or other taggers are present. Gail must receive a text from each tagger when entering and leaving. Your first text should read "NAME - in space". Subsequent texts can say "in space" or "leaving space."
- Do not remove any items from the premises without permission from a We Tag team lead.
- HELPERS: You may not have assistance placing items. You alone must place all We Tag items. No one may accompany you into the sale space without prior approval from Gail. Children are permitted only with one-time approval and must remain in a stroller or baby carrier.
- Do not move any signage. If you think a sign is missing or in the wrong place, text Gail and copy Kate Larkin, send a photo, and ask if the sign is correct.
- We have no one to empty trash before 1st Drop-off. You must remove ALL TRASH including paper; bring a bag to carry it out. Do not use sale bags from checkout.
- Do not leave any trash whatsoever in the sale space.

- Use ONLY our double-salesman racks.
- Double racks can tip and break if only one side is filled.
- Hang items on both sides to prevent tipping.

- Do not use rack pull-out extensions.
- Do not force the wheels of the racks if they stop rolling. Align them to roll forward and check if something has jammed them.
- Do not overfill or pack racks.
- Do not bring racks outside.
- On the day before 1st regular drop-off, double salesman racks should be returned to checkout stations.
- There is a small trash can of size rings at the We Tag supplies shelves for use by taggers. Please return them to the trash can when leaving the space.
- You must be above board in all ways.

- Do not enter the purple room.
- Leave the restroom cleaner than when you found it and ensure the toilet flushes completely. Do not flush paper towels or sanitary products; pack them out with you.
- If you have permission to bring a child with you and they use the restroom, ensure the toilet flushes and no trash is left behind. Children are generally not allowed in the space except during selling hours and are prohibited during Sip 'n Thrift.
- Each time you enter or exit, ensure the doors are locked by checking all three sets on both sides. We are responsible for valuable items and must be extremely careful.
- Only Team Leads may unlatch the double door.
- DO NOT LET ANYONE IN. Only a we tag team lead may let people in.
- Lock the doors and have the next person unlock them to ensure only approved key holders enter.
- You may provide your team lead's phone number without opening the door, and ask them to call. For security reasons, key codes are very limited.
- Do not allow mall personnel entry. Provide Gail's cell number and instruct them to call her.
- Do not let anyone in.
- Always lock the space when going to your car. The doors must never be left unlocked.
- You may be given the key code. If using the key code even for a short visit, return the key, lock the door behind you, and retrieve the key to lock the door upon exit. The key must remain in the lockbox when you are in the space.
- You may NOT for ANY reason share the key code with ANYONE no matter what they say.
- Change the code after removing and replacing the key to avoid leaving it set to the code.
- If you have an emergency, text or call your team lead and consignor.
- Break down and dispose of all small or weak boxes, nest strong boxes, and stack them neatly behind the curtain. By 1st drop-off, the space should have NO loose boxes - only neatly nested boxes behind the curtain left of the large plywood crates.
LEAVING THE SALE SPACE
- No one may be in the space after 9pm unless your We Tag team lead gives prior approval and a team lead is with you.
- If your We Tag team lead stays past 9pm, leave immediately when she does.
- Clean up thoroughly before leaving the space.
- Before leaving, remove all boxes and trash, return racks to their proper locations, and leave the space as good or better than you found it. Do a final walk-through to ensure no trash, boxes, rejects or items are left behind.
