BB We Tag Taggers
Thank you for wanting to become a tagger with our We Tag Team!
BoutiqueBASH accepts new taggers only if they previously consigned at a BoutiqueBASH event and were not fined for 10 or more unacceptable items. Returning BB Taggers receive priority due to unique BB item pricing. If you've consigned at a past BB event and wish to tag for other consignors, keep reading.
Tagging for BB & KE & EE
We are requiring that BB taggers tag with tan cardstock. If you tag for a person for KE or EE for whom you also tag for BB, please pick up their unsold BB items accepted at KE and/or EE and retag them with the correct color cardstock, if they provided it or white if they choose to donate unsold items.
New for BB - Fall 2026
Safety pins cannot be used by We Tag to attach tags. Use zip ties or a tagging gun only.
- We require that BB taggers tag all items, even those for color tag consignors, with tan cardstock for BB only. This is supplied for you at the mall space. White or color cardstock CANNOT be used for BB We Tag - no exceptions.
- We require a tagging gun when zip ties are not possible. We have tagging guns available to purchase for $10 at the sale space and linked on our Supply page. We provide tag pins; ensure they match your gun type (fine or standard).
- Important: You must use zip ties whenever possible. A tagging gun is used only when you cannot zip tie. This is true for items with parts and pieces as well - use zip ties, not tape, to attach pieces whenever possible.
- Tag through a seam - never the main fabric - to prevent holes in the item.
- Use two pins per tag for extra security.
- Tape your tag corner before using the ziptie or the gun to attach tag.
Tagger limits & clearance status
New Taggers:
- A new BB tagger is anyone who has NOT been a We Tag tagger for BB specifically in the past.
- New Taggers must attend orientation (listed on the We Tag Schedule).
- New taggers must complete and email a W9 form to
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . You cannot become a tagger until we receive your W9.
Check & Clearance Requirements:
- New and not yet cleared taggers can only take one mall drop-off consignor at a time and cannot pick up another consignor's items until the first consignor's items have been fully completed and returned to the building.
- Cleared taggers can take either one large mall drop-off consignor or up to two small mall drop-off consignors at a time but cannot pick up another consignor's items until the other consignors' items have been fully completed and returned.
- New Taggers and not-yet-cleared taggers must pick up consignor items at the sale space, tag them at home (if portable), and return them only when Kate, Amy, or Courtney are present to check them. Do not drop off when other key holders offer access.
- Kate, Amy, or Courtney must check all items before you place them on the floor.
- All new/not-cleared taggers must show all unacceptable items to Kate, Amy, or Courtney for approval before donating them.
- You can view your clearance status here.
Pay, reports & general info
- View the BB event schedule here. We Tag requires Taggers who arrive on time.
- Courtney is the We Tag team lead; all communication should go through her. Other leads are listed on the form.
- All returning Taggers can choose home drop-offs and/or mall pickups.
- Earnings: Taggers earn 20% of consignor sales from items they tag that sell. BB Taggers also earn $10 for each BB porch pickup. Indicate if you will offer BB porch pickup on your form.
- Fines & Pay: Pay is calculated before consignor fines are deducted. Fines do not affect your pay.
- Taxes: If you earn over $2000/year, Gail will issue you a 1099.
- Pricing: You decide the prices. We created a BB Pricing Guide to help. The consignor can tell you prices of a few items for which they have strong preference or might ask you to price a few items in red with no discount.
- Getting Paid: You will receive one combined check for all of your We Tag commissions available at Pickup. If you don't go to Pickup, it will be mailed that evening to the address on your form. If you consign at BB, your tagger check will be stapled to your personal consignor check for pickup.
- Reports: You will receive a Tagger Seller report that shows all sold items and unacceptable items for your consignors. You are NOT allowed to share your tagger report with your consignors. They must order their own.
- If you purchase a personal Seller Report, it includes only items sold under your personal code, not your We Tag consignors' codes.
Supplies
- We Supply: Zip ties, Ziploc bags, tag pins, tan cardstock, hangers, blue painter's tape, and packing tape refills.
- Tape Holders: We do not provide tape dispensers. When using our red packing tape holders at the sale space, refill empty tape holders for reuse; do not dispose of them.
- You Provide: Pens, a tag gun, large-core packing tape holder, stapler, and hole punch. Do not remove these from the sale space. Amazon Supply List.
- Returning Supplies: Return unused supplies including hangers before Drop-off unless tagging for KE or EE too.
- Personal Use: Do not use Kids EveryWEAR supplies or hangers for your personal items.
Item processing & deadlines
- Separation: Keep each consignor's items completely separate and use their correct code and last name on all tags.
- Blue Tape: Consignor # tape must be removed. Remove all blue tape with consignor codes before placing tagged items on the sales floor. Double-check while tagging and when setting up.
- Large Items: Large items that can't be moved are allowed to stay at the sale space. Label them with blue painter's tape showing the consignor code, your name, and "BB We Tag." Take photos, create the tag at home, then return to attach it. Send photos to the We Tag Team Lead so they are aware.
- Deadlines: All consignor items should be fully placed on the sales floor by Tuesday, August 4, the day before first BB drop off. Add this deadline to your calendar!
- Once regular drop-offs begin, you can only enter during regular drop-off hours and MUST have all items out before the end of the final drop-off.
- If an emergency prevents you from completing tagging or from getting your consignor's items, notify the team lead as soon as possible - ideally at least one week before regular drop-offs.
- Penalty: If you fail to complete and place a consignor's items BEFORE BB 2nd Drop-off, the person who finishes the work will receive full pay for those items. No exceptions.
- No Helpers: No one can help you put out items. You alone can place We Tag items - no helpers allowed.
- Lighting: You cannot turn on the main lights. Only the We Tag team lead can turn them on. We will post in the We Tag FB Group when lights will be on.
Unacceptable items & KE/EE transfers
You are responsible for checking all items for stains and damage. You must check that items meet the requirements of the Boutique Brands Accepted Chart. You must check that all items are complete and work properly. All items must have working batteries.
- You must assemble all items that require assembly as listed in the BB Drop-off page.
- KE/EE Transfers: If items are accepted at KE/EE but NOT at BB, do not count them as unacceptable. Inform your team lead so the consignor can pay for KE/EE We Tag. Once confirmed, tag them. If you are not tagging for KE/EE, box the items, label them "KE" or "EE" with the consignor code, leave the box on Gail's desk, and text Courtney.
- Unacceptable Items Form: When you are completely finished and all items have been placed on the floor, you are required to submit an Unacceptable Items form for each unacceptable item. You can pick your next consignor's items to tag only after submitting this form.
Codes, rollover, & pickup
- Codes: The We Tag Team Lead will register the consignor's We Tag code using their first initial and last name. If they use the We Tag code to self-tag items, all their self-tagged items will be paid at 45%. Consignors pay an additional fee for a second code.
- Cardstock: If a consignor provides colored cardstock, ensure it matches their assigned We Tag code color on the Cardstock Color Chart.
- No BB Rollover: There is no rollover after BB. All BB unsold items must be retagged at a lower price for KE or EE on white cardstock or colored cardstock provided by the consignor.
- Pulling Tags: We will pull all items tagged with tan cardstock and have them sorted by tagger and available at regular consignor pickup after BB ends as well as the 1st KE mall drop-off for We Tag.
- Retagging: If you are tagging for KE or EE and receive confirmation that your BB consignor paid for KE or EE We Tag, you are required to pick up your consignors' unsold items and retag on white cardstock or consignor-provided color cardstock to reduce the price for KE or EE.
- If you will not be tagging for KE or EE, the We Tag team leads will assign your consignors' rollover items to another tagger.
Building rules & keyholders
- Text Gail: Text Gail EVERY time you enter and leave the sales space, even if team leads are present. Your first text should read "NAME - in space". Subsequent texts can say "in space" or "leaving space."
- Clean Up & Carts: You must remove ALL TRASH including paper; bring a bag to carry it out. DO NOT leave any Boxes. Leave the space as good or better than you found it. Return all flat carts to the storefront before leaving.
- Racks: Use ONLY our single-salesman racks that are set up in the front for you. Do not use rack pull-out extensions. Do not overfill racks or bring them outside.
- Bathrooms: Use only the main bathrooms. Do not enter the purple room. Pack out sanitary items/paper towels.
- Keyholder Requirements: Keyholding is a privilege. Key-holders tagging for BB must schedule 1.5 hours between July 1 and August 4. All scheduled time slots must be posted at least one week in advance so non-keyholders have adequate time to plan.
- Security: You CANNOT for ANY reason share the key code with ANYONE. Change the code after removing and replacing the key to avoid leaving it set to the code. Ensure doors are locked by checking all three sets on both sides.
Zero tolerance & communication
- YOU MUST PROMISE NOT TO SHOP, STASH, HIDE, OR LOOK THROUGH CLOTHING OR OTHER CONSIGNED ITEMS. If you desperately want something, put it where it belongs and go to it first during your shopping hours. Do not ask someone shopping before your shopping time to buy any items for you. Do not buy directly from consignors.
- Facebook Group: You must request a link from the We Tag team lead to join the hidden We Tag FB Group. The link expires after 24 hours. Turn on notifications! This is the ONLY place to ask questions. The BB s.e.c.r.e.t w.o.r.d.s are Raise The Bar.
- No Texting: You cannot text questions about tagging to the We Tag team. Be respectful of time and search the site/groups before posting.
