About Items Accepted & Fines
All items must be clean, current, in excellent like-new condition, complete, and with working batteries and required cords!
- Size Limits: For EE events, no children's clothing items marked XL or sizes 14, 16, 18, 20 are permitted. Only adult sizes apply.
- Condition: No outdated styles, off-season fabrics, yellowing layout, bleach spots, tiny holes, minor stains, or neck rings.
- Value & Completeness: Standard apparel must be valued at and worth $4 and up to be checked in. Undergarments can be priced at $2 and up. Shoes & accessories: No minimum price. Toys must be verified complete.
- Puzzles/Games: Must be 100% complete! Mark "Counted/Complete" or "Verified Complete" directly on the tag.
We do not accept vintage or hand-painted items, or items missing pieces or in need of repair. A fee of $1 per item will be deducted from your check for each unacceptable item brought to the sale. Large furniture items that are deemed unacceptable or unusable will result in a $10 disposal fee. Fines are listed on your Seller Report.
💡 Pro-Tip: The "Inspection Light" Trick
Stains are the #1 reason items are rejected. Check all items under bright, natural light before tagging. Check armpits, collars, cuffs, and linings!
Check at Crew Check-in table to get questionable items approved and have tag marked “accepted” at Drop-off, but please err on the side of caution.

Clothing rack space is highly limited, and shoppers only want to browse current, weather-appropriate items. Therefore, we strictly limit clothing to the upcoming season.
The Golden Rule: "Is this item designed for, or intended for, the upcoming season?" If an item is meant for summer but could be styled for winter, do not bring it to the winter sale.
🍁 Fall/Winter EE (Oct)
UNACCEPTED ITEMS:
- NO Summer Styles or Cuts: No capris of any length, no rompers with shorts, no visors, no above-the-knee pants, no open bellies, and no ruffle/butterfly sleeves.
- NO Summer Fabrics: No linen, madras, seersucker, gauze, muslin, lightweight beach pants, terry cloth, or eyelet.
- NO Sleeveless Rules: No sleeveless shirts or "cold shoulder"/off-shoulder shirts (unless they are heavy winter fabrics and long-sleeved). No sleeveless tops even if worn under layers, except synthetic dri-fit exercise shirts and clear winter formal gowns (such as sequins for New Year's Eve).
- NO Women's Shorts: No shorts allowed for ladies, except synthetic exercise shorts.
- NO Men's Swimwear: No bathing suits, including any men's shorts that contain a mesh bathing suit lining.
- ✅ YES to PJs: Shorts-style pajamas are only allowed if they are heavy winter weights like fleece or flannel.
🌷 Spring/Summer EE (Apr/May)
UNACCEPTED ITEMS:
- NO Winter Fabrics: No thermal waffle weave shirts, flannel shirts, fleece, corduroy, velvet, or lined pants.
- NO Winter Styles: No turtlenecks or dark-colored long-sleeved shirts.
- NO Winter Themes: No winter holiday patterns or seasonal designs.
- ✅ YES to Exceptions: We DO accept unlined sweatshirts and hoodies, thin long-sleeved t-shirts clearly intended for summer wear, and men's light-colored pastel or white thin-weight summer dress shirts.
These are examples. Our Crew reserves the right to remove any items from the racks if they deem them off-season. We charge $1 per item for each unacceptable item.

To keep the Kids EveryWEAR Sale top-notch and ensure your items sell, our Crew actively checks racks and removes items that are off-season, stained, damaged, or not the correct sizes. We know mistakes happen! Whenever space allows, we will hold these unaccepted items for you to retrieve at Pickup.
However, because space is extremely limited, we reserve the right to donate unacceptable color and white tag items (as well as incorrectly brought adult, ladies', or juniors' clothing) prior to Pickup if necessary. Thank you so much for double-checking your items at home - it helps us maintain a clean, organized, and amazing shopping experience for everyone!
