The golden rules of pricing
At the EverythingELSE Consignment Sale, consignors price their own items. That's one of the reasons the sale is so much fun to shop-the deals are amazing and prices really vary! Items that are priced too high simply will not sell!
Minimum Prices: Prices start at $4 for clothing (or $2 for undergarments) and $1 for everything else!
- The "Math" Method: Price brand-name items in excellent condition at approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of the original retail price. All items must be priced at no more than 50% of the lowest available retail price. (e.g., if an item is available for $50, it cannot be priced higher than $25).
- Be a Shopper: Put yourself in their shoes and ask: "Would I buy this item, in this condition, for this price?" Carefully consider the age and condition. Most single clothing items are priced in the $2-$7 range.
- Know Your Competition: Will there be plenty of items like this one to choose from? You are including these items in the sale in order to "SELL" them. Do not over-price.
- Leave Emotions at the Door: Try not to attach sentimental feelings to your price. Emotion will often lead to over-pricing.

You name it! Gently used, current, manufactured in the last 3 years, like-new or new, we take almost all brands!
- What's Hot: Our shoppers love toys! Outdoor play items are our hottest non-clothing sellers. Lululemon, Athleta, & athleisure are our hottest clothing sellers!
- What We Do NOT Accept: Temu, Shein, Alfred Dunner, Croft & Barrow elastic-waist pants, Basic Editions, Merona, or any brands not in existence in the last 3 years.
The nitty-gritty: Discounts & tags
At the EverythingELSE Sale, you have the ultimate flexibility and control over pricing! We hold 50% and 75% off clearance sales on the final two days of the sale.
Discount Options: We strongly recommend using the 75% off discount option so you sell the highest percentage of your items.
- MAX DISCOUNT NONE (Red): The price will print in red or "red" will print under the price. Use no discount sparingly for those treasures you'd rather get back than discount.
If you do not have a color printer, we require that you circle the price with a red pen. - MAX DISCOUNT 50% (Green): Your items reduce to 50% off for both the 50% off day and 50% off on the 75% off day. It will print the word "green" under the price and print the price in green.
If you do not have a color printer, we require that you circle the price with a green pen. - MAX DISCOUNT 75% (Black): Reduces to 50% on the second to last day and then to 75% off on the final day. It will print the price in black and print the word "black" under the price. You do not have to circle these!
(Note: We will NOT be offering 75% off at the Boutique Bash, but if you choose this option, your item will sell at 50% off on BB discount day. We recommend this so that if items don't sell, you can bring them to KE or EE and they will reduce to 75% off on the final days of those events.)
Tag Details
Clothing never needs a Claim Ticket. Just be sure you tape tag corners and use zip ties whenever possible. See the How to Tag page for important details about tagging your items so they will sell well!
