We Tag Taggers
Kids EveryWEAR accepts new taggers only if they previously consigned at a Kids EveryWEAR event and were not fined for 5 or more unacceptable items. If you've consigned at a past KE event and wish to tag for other consignors, keep reading.
New for KE only - Spring 2026
- We are requiring that BB taggers tag with tan cardstock. If you tag for a person for KE for whom you also tag for BB, please pick up their unsold BB items accepted at KE and retag them with the correct color cardstock if they provided it or white if they choose to donate unsold items.
New Taggers
- A new KE tagger is anyone who has NOT been a We Tag tagger for KE specifically in the past.
- New Taggers must attend orientation, listed on the We Tag Schedule linked in the fb group and tagger form.
- All taggers who did not tag for We Tag for last season's KE must also attend Orientation.
- New Taggers must pick up consignor items at the sale space, tag them at home (if portable), and return them to place on the sales floor when a We Tag lead is there.
- New taggers must complete and email a W9 to
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . You can not become a tagger until we receive your W9. - All new taggers must show all unacceptable items to a We Tag Team Lead for approval before disposing of them.
- All new taggers must drop off items only when a We Tag Team Lead is at the mall space - not when other key holders offer to allow drop-off. Team leads are listed in the Tagger Form.
General Information
- Courtney is the We Tag team lead; all communication should go through her. Other leads are listed on the form.
- New Taggers pick up consignor items at the sale space, tag them at home (if portable), and return them to place on the sales floor.
- Large items that can't be moved may stay at the sale space. Label them with blue painter's tape showing the consignor code, your name, and "KE We Tag." Take photos, create the tag at home, then return to attach it. Send photos to the We Tag Team Lead so they are aware of items left that need tags.
- Returning Taggers may choose home drop-offs and/or mall pickups.
- Taggers earn 20% of consignor sales from items they tag that sell. You submit an unacceptable items count. Pay is calculated before consignor fines are deducted. Fines do not affect your pay.
- If you earn over $600/year, Gail will issue you a 1099. New taggers must complete and email a W9 to
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. now. You can not become a tagger until we receive your W9. - We supply zip-ties, Ziploc bags, tag pins, white cardstock (for KE and EE only; tan cardstock for BB), safety pins, hangers, blue painter's tape, and packing tape refills but not dispensers. When using our red packing tape holders at the sale space, refill empty tape holders for reuse; do not dispose of them.
- You provide pens, a tag gun, large-core packing tape holder, stapler, and hole punch. Do not remove these from the sale space. Supplies: https://www.amazon.com/shop/kidseverywearconsignmentsale
- You decide the prices. We created a KE Pricing Guide to help. The consignor may tell you prices of a few items for which they have strong preference or might ask you to price a few items in red no discount.
- Return unused supplies including hangers before 1st drop-off unless tagging for EE also.
- Do not use Kids EveryWEAR supplies or hangers for your personal items.
- Keep each consignor's items completely separate and use their correct code and last name on all tags.
- We recommend a tagging gun, but you may use our zip-ties or safety pins where needed. We like this tagging gun. We provide tag pins; ensure they match your gun type (fine or regular).
- We Tag requires Taggers who arrive on time.
- For the Kids EveryWEAR Sale, all consignor items must be fully placed on the sales floor by Friday, February 20, the day before KE 1st drop-off. Add this deadline to your calendar. We request that you complete all consignor items before regular drop-offs begin. You may still use regular drop-offs and go through the normal drop-off procedure if you have additional items once regular drop-offs start. However, aim to have all items placed before regular drop-offs begin.
- Once regular drop-offs begin, you may only enter during regular drop-off hours and MUST have all items out before the end of the final drop-off ends.
- If an emergency prevents you from completing tagging or from getting your consignor's items, notify the team lead as soon as possible - ideally at least one week before regular drop-offs.
- If you fail to complete and place a consignor's items BEFORE KE 3rd drop-off, the person who finishes the work will receive full pay for those items. No exceptions.
- You will receive one combined check for all of your KE we tag commissions. It will be available at Pickup. If you don't go to Pickup, it will be mailed that evening to the address you provide in the We Tag form. If you consign at KE, your tagger check will be stapled to your personal consignor check for pickup.
- You will receive a Tagger Seller report that shows all items that sold for each consignor and all unacceptable items.
- If you purchase a personal Seller Report, it includes only items sold under your personal code, not your We Tag consignors' codes.
Kids EveryWEAR Pickup
There is a rollover after KE.
- All KE non-rollover items must be picked up by your consignor if they provided color cardstock.
- All KE non-rollover white tag items will be donated before Pickup.
- You may pick up and retag unsorted rollover items at a lower price at your discretion.
- If you are consigning personally at KE, you must pick up your sorted non-rollover color tag personal items before the end of KE Pickup.
We Tag Consignor Codes
- Consignor # tape: Remove all blue tape with consignor codes before placing tagged items on the sales floor. Double-check both while tagging and when setting up.
- The We Tag Team Lead will register the consignor's We Tag code for each event using their first initial and last name.
- If a consignor provides colored cardstock, ensure it matches their assigned We Tag code color.
- If the consignor tags their own items, they must use their original code (full first name and last name) or accept that items under their we tag code will be paid at 45%.
- Consignors pay an additional fee for a second code. We do not issue a free extra code to discourage self-tagging of large or expensive items.
- If they use the We Tag code, all their self-tagged items will be paid at 45%.
Details
- YOU MUST PROMISE NOT TO SHOP, STASH, HIDE, OR LOOK THROUGH CLOTHING OR OTHER CONSIGNED ITEMS.
- We all know this, but it still needs to be said because some people ask where they could put the items they want to buy!
- It simply is not fair, no matter how many hours you work.
- If you desperately want something, you must put it where it belongs and go to it first during your shopping hours.
- Do not ask someone shopping before your shopping time to buy any items for you.
- Do not buy directly from consignors.
- We post important We Tag updates in our hidden We Tag FB Group.
- As a tagger, you must request a link from the We Tag team lead (listed above) to join the We Tag FB Group.
- The link expires after 24 hours.
- Once you join, please turn on notifications for the group.
- It is also the only place you may ask questions about We Tag.
- You may not text questions about tagging to the We Tag team.
- It becomes overwhelming for other taggers to answer questions already covered on our website or in the We Tag or Consignor groups.
- Be respectful of other team members' time and search the site using various search terms before posting in the FB Group.
- Please do not ask Kate, Amy, or other taggers about item placement before using the QR code sheet at the space to search the KE layout (in the KE Drop-off page in the SELL Tab of the website) for item placement. This requires using the "Find & Replace ..." feature in the Google Sheets app. Download the Google Sheets app to your phone now.
- Please do not ask Kate, Amy, or other taggers questions about how to tag an item before first searching the How to Tag page for KE in the SELL tab of the website.
- You must join our private FB Group for consignors and turn on notifications if you are not already a member. We post helpful information there and believe it is beneficial.
- It is absolutely essential that your tags print crisp and clear - not faded or fuzzy. Never print over a tag twice or on the back of the same sheet. If tags are fuzzy, they don't scan and must be manually entered, increasing the chance of errors. Please ensure each sheet prints clearly!
- Before tagging each season, you must read all pages in the SELL tab of our website. Please start with the What's New for Consignors page.
- Before tagging each season, please read the How to Tag page. Tagging rules change each season.
- If a consignor does not drop off after you've contacted them by email and text, please notify the We Tag team lead listed above.
- All initial written or phone communication with consignors must be done by the We Tag team leads, not by you. If a consignor reaches out to you directly, ask them to sign up according to the directions on the We Tag for You page in the SELL tab.
- If a consignor provides color cardstock, verify that it matches the correct color indicated on this Cardstock Color Chart.
- Attach Claim Tickets to all items that require them.
- Please discuss any sale-related suggestions or desired changes with Gail, but be discreet about who hears you. We value and appreciate your input, but let’s keep discussions private. Please, no drama and complaining. Let's keep it fun for everyone!
- Please do not discuss other consignment sales with anyone, including your consignors.
- No one may help you put out items. You alone may place We Tag items-no helpers allowed.
- You may not turn on the main lights. Only the We Tag team lead may turn them on, and only when many people are putting out items. We will post in the We Tag FB Group when lights will be on.
- When you are completely finished and all items have been placed on the sales floor, submit an Unacceptable Items form for each unacceptable item.
This does not impact your tagger pay, as it's calculated before fines are deducted from consignor pay. You may pick your next consignor's items to tag only after submitting unacceptable items for your current consignor and placing all of their items on the sales floor.Unacceptable items form for March 2026 KE consignors
